Postgraduate Education & Training Series 2008-2009

The K.C. Center for Family and Organizational Systems offers an ongoing Postgraduate Education & Training Series in Bowen family systems theory. In this Series, trainees study major concepts and applications of the theory, provide case examples, give a presentation and submit a formal paper at the end of the year. Essential to the study of Bowen theory is understanding one’s own family and one’s own functioning. Toward that end, trainees participate in small group and individual consultation. The format for the monthly classes includes lectures, videos, discussion and consultation. The Series includes the Heartland Conference and Open Classroom. The Series begins in September and runs through May.
